The road to Eurovision 2027 is officially open. From 1 September 2026, commercially released songs can meet the release-date requirement for the 2027 Contest, marking the practical start of the new season.
Burgas, Bulgaria will host the 71st Eurovision Song Contest at Arena Burgas. The First Semi-Final is scheduled for 11 May, the Second Semi-Final for 13 May and the Grand Final for 15 May 2027.
The season is already moving beyond the host-city announcement. Broadcasters in several countries have opened or announced submission processes for their 2027 national selections, while Austria and Switzerland have indicated that they plan internal selection routes.
Ticket sales have not opened. The official Eurovision guidance says fans interested in tickets should create a free Eurofan account and register their interest; prices, categories and the authorised ticketing route will be announced later.
