EUROVISION RECORDS
Who has won Eurovision twice?
Only two performers have won the Eurovision Song Contest twice as lead artists: Ireland's Johnny Logan and Sweden's Loreen.
Loreen
2012 — Sweden, “Euphoria”
2023 — Sweden, “Tattoo”
Johnny Logan
1980 — Ireland, “What's Another Year”
1987 — Ireland, “Hold Me Now”
Johnny Logan's extra songwriting win
Johnny Logan also wrote Ireland's 1992 winner “Why Me?”, performed by Linda Martin. That gives him a unique place in Eurovision history: two wins as a performer and another as a songwriter.
Loreen's two victories
Loreen first won for Sweden with “Euphoria” in 2012, then returned eleven years later to win Liverpool 2023 with “Tattoo”, becoming the second performer and the first woman to win Eurovision twice.
